Privacy policy
Mental wellness information is among the most personal data there is. This page explains, in plain language, what Psychase collects, how it is used, and the controls you keep. Last updated 15 September 2026.
What we collect
- • Account details you give us: name, email, and optionally a phone number for appointment reminders.
- • Wellness information you create: assessment answers and results, mood check-ins and notes, wellness-plan activity.
- • Booking and payment records: appointments, invoices and payment status. Card details are handled entirely by our payment provider and never touch Psychase's servers.
How it is used
- • To provide the service: showing you your results, connecting you with the therapist you book, and sending appointment notifications.
- • Assessment results are visible only to you unless you explicitly share a result with one chosen professional — a consent we record and you can revoke at any time.
- • Professional session notes are visible only to the psychologist who wrote them. Administrators cannot read consultation content or your individual assessment answers.
What we never do
- • We never place assessment answers, results or consultation details in analytics, advertising systems, marketing pixels or notification previews.
- • We never sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.
- • We never record consultations by default; recording is only ever possible with explicit consent from everyone involved.
Security
- • Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere), passwords are stored only as strong one-way hashes, and sessions use secure, httpOnly cookies.
- • Access to sensitive records is audit-logged, and roles strictly limit who can see what.
Your controls
- • Review and revoke consents from Privacy & Consent in your dashboard.
- • Export a copy of your data anytime from the same page.
- • Request account deletion; some records are retained only as long as the law requires, then erased.
